Interesting what you said about length. I got mine at 168 (end of season 505 sale, so no choice tbh0 but I am only 5'6, so hope it would work. My JJ's were 175 and yes, tail rocker took some getting used to as it was my first ever rockered ski and rocker was massive. I am tempted to take mine up on Friday, will probably do if we get more snow on Thursday as forecast... Powder will probably be all tracked out but I'll take the chop too. I was recommended DPS over Kastle BMX 108 in the shop as a ski requiring less effort. Kastle weigh a ton too especially when compared to DPS. You might enjoy Armada Norwalk - the same as JJ but tail is non-rockered, basically a fatter TST.
I don't understand why people are making so much fuss about ski buses. I love Chamonix buses and every time I went there they were not particularly busy too. There are 5 areas and if the snow is good people will be going in different directions anyway. The town itself is very special. And food. And scenery. Buses are a part of it.

I mounted them at centre line - I always go recommended so that not to think about it too much. Worked so far so hopefully will work now. If I get to ski them this season:)

I bought DPS112 to replace my JJ's which have seen better days and they haven't left the flat yet... Maybe on Friday...:)
Risk level can be so deceiving! Looks like they were totally caught off-guard with 3 people being swept. Sad reminder that at even risk level 1 there can be localised risk higher than this, and caution still has to be exercised.

I only trust 3-day forecast range. I've been here long enough to know:) We have a typical winter inversion - foggy and cold at the bottom, sunny and mild at the top. It's only mid-December though...

I suppose you can find out about it in the same way as before, you will just have to get there yourself. There are also things like resort websites, resort reviews and piste maps...
