not sure if it is just me but i have 2 tiny lines that are now the edit and quote buttons..does anyone else have that issue?
SnowCrazy or others... we are looking to book a second week somewhere, possible 1800, and we had penciled in 9/3 but what availability there is currently across europe seems to be fairly expensive compared to 16/3. My question is what would snow and temp conditions be like on 16/3?
I know it is only 7 days difference and no one has an accurate crystal ball - so trying to see what the experts think :-). We were in Ischgl 2 years ago 2nd week in march and it was pretty ropey down towards the resort - needed water ski's rather than snow ski's.

Thought i should finish this thread off... just returned and expected to use the cham 87 however when i went in to collect them i had a chat with the manager and he suggested either the cham 87 or movement jam. i opted for the jam based on the fact that it would be better n ice than the cham 87. I made a great choice and would buy these ski's if i was in the market to buy - i prefer to rent though so i can have choice and change after a few days. As it happens i really didnt find any ice to test the jams on although there were a few hard patch's which they cut through without any issues.
1 of our group had the Rossi 88 and he also had fun on these as well - although i would say they were noticeably heavier than the jam's.

Just got back from staying in 1800 and had a fantastic week - loads to ski and spent a fair bit of time off piste which was at times magical.. I am not one to really judge the resort as i am more first and last lift and as long as the accom and food are good then that does it for me. I think that if you are looking for a charming resort then austria will offer this more than france.
SC great photos of the Linecatchers.
Went up to Aiguille Rouge today and and the middle gondola station there was a sign warning of extreme temps, -20C and -33C with wind chill..trust me it was bloody cold.
Strange day today..sunny high up but snowing at 1600 so spent some time down there but went via malgovert red Natur - what a brilliant area and hardly touched by others - loads of fun in and out of the trees.
Cant tell you how much fun these conditions are though:-) and it looks like more snow over the next few days too.
snowed all day today with mixed visibility and clouds moving in and out of the ski area. slopes fairly empty all day...maybe due to the weather but should there be such a thing as a fair weather skier?
What an amazing afternoon--about 3pm the sun came out and the slopes were almost empty..found a red run with only a few tracks in about 4 inch of fresh snow spent most of the last 2 hours off piste between the reds down to 1800 and still found virgin areas of snow...cant wait for tomorrow...

Not had to wait for a lift anywhere in 3 days and never had to wait for a table at lunchtime..hotel we are in still has 75% of its keys behind reception...we feel as though we almost have the resort to ourselves. and last lift out of 1800 is now 16:55 so long days to ski although it is almost dusk at that time..last lift i got today was at 16:40 just didnt want the afternoon to end..
