i think.my biggest fear was that they had reported good conditions 2 weeks before we went to borovets and whilst we were there they changed so much daily. hey hoe its all booked now for fingers.crossed for a top up.

i think trip advisor is a great way of getting a feel for somewhere. dont get me wrong i know its not fool proof and people always have differing standards but overall it seemed a good shout and a great location. just praying for good snow as last year nearly spelled the end for my partner and i when we went to borovets and the conditions were horific. 20 ft sheets of solid ice 6" rocks poking through and a mud patches everyehere. it just shattered her confidence so im hoping this year with her own custom fit boots and own skis and please decent snow we can get her back on track. we spent three days last feb skiing the only run with more than an inch of snow .

Well i bottled it and got a good deal to les deux alps. aounds like a good resort and high up in the alps cant be a bad call...

The second time, whilst the very lower slopes did suffer a little, from the Cretes pistes upwards (you'll spot these if you take a look at the piste map), the conditions were still superb.

As it's a glacier resort, and there's still skiing to be had in the summer, it's as safe a bet as you can take when it comes to there being snow. Rest assured, I would go again early March without hesitation.

Well i have gone ahead and booked it. we were gong to wait till the last minute but with this being a glacier resort i decided to go ahead so fingers crossed for a few more top ups. not only for my sake but everyones. got what i thought was a fairly good deal for france in the allborg half board through neilson.

On another note can anyone recommend a decent bar for some happy hour apre ???? its all about a hard days skiing and decent apre for me. the rest is for my other half

Hi all juat a quick one. as i cant find find a thread on here already. just found a deal online for the first week in march and wondered what peoples experiences have been like ? never been and to be honest never really looking too much into here. always get drawn the the three valleya when searching. lift system looks good with plenty of runs but my only concern is that is south facing and were looking if only juat into march..

any advice / feedback appreciated

I can understand booking a late deal after a heavy dump, but I dont think I'd ever risk making an advanced booking and hoping for the best.
Pick a resort high up in the Alps if you're worried about no snow.

but surely with global warming alot of places are a risk. look at last season. As for andorra i just hope something changes soon.

given the choice where would you book in advance ? since the heavy snow in th alps it seems prices have really stepped up. i for one really cant decide whwere to go.

Just give it time it will come ... it always does, although nothing much next week

to be honest im gonna wait till the very last minute if i can. would love there to be a huge dump to help andorra . also i get to make the most of good prices over there.
