Always provide a free drink - it's the only reason I go.

Nice wibble Icy
Mr Nelly most definatley does not have skinny ankles, I would describe his legs as tree trunks. Or cankles which is the term used mostly for those whose calves and ankles cannot be defined. Anyway, Verbier SB, where did you get these toe covers? I did see something similar in Superdrug the other day for corns or something, but I thought they might not fit inside the boot. I will also suggest another trip to the boot fitter to check them and mention the toenail problem. |

Maybe they aren't quite right then. Annoyingly he had them fitted when he bought them, but these are relatively new boots and he had the same problem with the last boots too.
Toenail chopping is a ritual pre ski hols in our house :) |

Strange title and not even sure if this has anything to do with technique but I wanted to see if anyone else has the same problem.
Not me, Mr Nelly comes home with a black toenail (big toe) EVERY year after a weeks skiing, which eventually drops off (eew). So what is he doing that's making this happen? Just bad habit of lifting a toe? Not leaning forward enough? Anyone else get this? |

That's the start of camping season. Although obviously given then chance I'd go skiing :D |

Me too! Once we are no longer tied to Mr Nellys ex bloody wife and the children no longer want to spend two weeks with us in the summer, then we'll be good to go for two weeks in the winter. Master Nelly (13) has just started to show an interest in skiing and has just had a school trip announcement made at school, which we will gladly send him on. May sound selfish, but skiing is our thing, we don't have the children with us all the time so have the luxury of going out of school holidays. This is the first time either of them has been remotely interested in going. |

I did board in La Plagne quite a few years ago, remember nothing about the area at all so looking forward to exploring. I know it wasn't linked with Les Arcs then so that will be a nice day out.
