Sami - terrible news, the very best of luck to you.
Snowb4ndit - I wouldn't be at all suprised if the schools arrange another round of interviews due to lack of candidates able to make it through the severe weather conditions. surely they'd be shooting themselves in the foot otherwise. Any news on whether the skis and luggage made it to ADH? |

Some things stick, but most things completely disappear unfortunately  |

I think this completely depends on your persona. I've done all three and I don't think I'd do s/c again, firstly because I prefer not to cater on holiday but, most importantly for me, there's no interaction with other people. I prefer chalets because the banter and stories of the day are a great part of the holiday. Personally, I pick 30+ chalets so it's big enough that you're not in each other's pockets but small enough that you can remember everyone's name! It's also nice to come back to a freshly baked cake :D. The standards have been very good in all the chalets I've stayed in.
I'd book lessons through the operator if you can as you're more likely to end up with an English group. Iglu are the agents and will book the holiday for you with a company that will more than likely offer lessons. Book hire direct on the internet, it's much, much cheaper. |

I can't figure out where that is. Has your hotel changed it's name? I googled it and only found an article about the hotel formerly known as Le Caribou.

absolutely yes, as long as they're not mileage hunters. Actually, it'd be a good call because you'd never be too far from the wife/mum and you'd see a lot of each other. |

Hi Dan
From what I know of your list I'd go for Les Arcs, either 1950 or 2000 if you can get a good deal. Tignes is great but one of the most expensive places on the planet . France, on the whole, is an expensive place to ski but if you can get a good price including catering then go for it. Enjoy  |
