I wear my Donjoy under my base layer but over a silk knee tube (which it was fitted over). It not only keeps the knee warmer, extremely important, but keeps the brace firmly in place. I actually wear one on both knees, they're lovely :D can't remember the make though, sorry.

good news
I had some strange unexplained problem with my big toe one year and was really worried about skiing. As soon as I put my boots on, what with the moulding and the hard shell, the problem was completely forgotten about. Fingers crossed for you. |

This is what I would've done after my accident on day one in Les Arcs but I had to be up at 7am every day so the nurse could give me two very painful jabs in the derrier . I then had to get the family ready to go off to their lessons and then I'd come back and sleep, sulk, watch the skiing on Eurosport, read and listen to my ipod until it was a reasonable enough time of day for me to sample the local grape flavoured drink and drown my sorrows . This I would do until 5pm when I had to go back for more jabs. What a holiday  Glad she's better mfc. Good luck with the knee, let us know how you get on. |
