Hi if you are still in need of info about bormio i can help if you want to PM me-I spent the seson there. Never went up the glacier so dont know much about it but can put you in touch with people that do know about it-have shops/hotels/hire shops up there.
There is an excellent B&B in borio that was cheap during winter and im sure is cheaper during summer |

thought i would post this here and hope for a reply instead of starting a new thread and potentially re-opening this can of worms! oh and i know its not strictly ski related but the knowledge is far superior on here than elsewhere....
Im flying home in july to NI and need to take my kilt. I want to take it on as hand luggage as well as a bag-does anyone know if this is possible? Cheers |

delighted that you have become hooked this year-just be careful dry slope skiing doesnt put you off!!
try and get to a snow dome as often as geographically/financially possible as it will keep your eye in way better! |

well most def wasnt you then!
was it the alegro that was where the main apres bit was? im not sure as it gets rather hazy very quickly after that..... just down below the fairly steep black run at the extreme left of the piste map (not on motolinio side) |
