ahhh ok im sure i saw a large group of folks that seemed (in my head) to fit how you would look! i got over to livigno a fair bit towards the end of the season-the day before we left (monday 12th) we spent there and had a blast at the apres ski!
Not sure what im doing, depends how well i like being back in gloomy glasgow and how my work pans out-not liking it right now but will give it til october half term and assess then! been aksed back but would need to quit, is tempting though, could do a season instructing with a mate in oz after! |

get some 90mm skis too-makes it much for enjoyable!
btw i meant to ask ian were you in bormio at all this year? |

oh also use "the solutions room"-just google it to get your chalet, you post what you want and where you want it and the chalet people (private and companies) get back to you
i used it last year in la plagne and was fantastic and dead easy |

Bormio was quiet during half term week cos was the english championships which meant anyone there was racing so the rest of the mountain was free!

do you mean feb half term?
it is one of the lower resorts around with fairly varied conditions-ie when i went there 2 years ago in april we got fresh spring powder for 2 days then rain for 3 but the seaonairres said they had had grass fields in feb! personally the portes du solei is my fav area to ski in france but it isnt that snow-sure but hopefully in feb you should be fine |

Does anyone have any knowledge of this equipment
I have found a decent deal online for it and want to know why its so much cheaper! I have read that it isnt as good as others but will it do the job? Avalanche safety isnt really somewhere I want to scrimp!! Ta :D |
