We're delighted to announce that respected ski shops in the Austrian Ski Resorts of St.Anton and Schladming are now available as part of the SkiSet network.

In St.Anton, you can pre-book your ski hire in five shops including Alber Sport, Alber Sport St.Christoph, Check In Galzig, Check In Nasserein and Sport Schneider.

In Schladming, you can hire from Sport & Mode Tritscher I, Sport Tritscher II, Sport Tritscher III Planai (Olympic) or Sport Tritscher IV.

Use the Ski Hire links anywhere on J2Ski, or go to St.Anton Ski Hire or Ski Hire in Schladming for more details.

Most of what bandit said...

Top tip - Add a foil survival blanket - weighs next to nothing, costs peanuts and could help keep a casualty warm/alive until help arrives. Get one (will even fit in Wicker's pockets). 8)

Excellent news.

My wife tore her MCL (on a poxy dry slope...) but with decent physio was skiing 6 weeks later. See how you go and if you're still in pain in a week then see your GP and/or a physio - sounds like you're OK though.

Result.

Hi Paul, Allie...

Apologies if we were overloading you - the snow reports and forum have been very busy in the past week or so.

I have just reduced the frequency of our automated postings considerably so it should be less intrusive now. Perhaps you could re-enable (re-like) us and let me know if it's still an issue for you, or if it's now bearable?

Unfortunately, with the current technology, there's no easy way to filter - and FB's new user interface seems to be fairly random with what it hides and what it streams straight in.
What a great day.

I'm with Snapzz...

5th December 2012 was an amazing day 8)

Where to start?

My 5-year-old chose our Xmas tree
It snowed (some more) in The Alps

J2Ski.com got 63,000 visits (our biggest day yet)
240 new people signed up for our snow mails (welcome to J2Ski!)

Finally - thanks to Jim and the Black Diamond crew who entertained us with the Warren Miller Film last night. Only a few nights left now, including a free showing at the O2... so catch it while you can.

Today it feels like winter so that's a good start!

Ah! So that's where you disappear off to in the summer... I figured that you probably hibernate Pav!
Great picture taken yesterday at Glencoe...
