Yup  ...and back on the 27th

Damn! I just got a third week passout from my most wonderful and brilliant frau. So 2 weeks becomes 3 weeks. On the most prime snow! And by myself! Yodelodiao

M-johnny, cannot believe that you bought without seeing! I will ask around for a plumber for you. Without giving too much away, are you at the Oberau end or the Grafenweg end?
If you are in Niederau this week, let me know.

I think that you will find that is a bit of spoof Ally. Having said that, we used to have to teach how to fall properly, and how to get up!

This guy is about 5ft 6in tall, and so he was only skiing on 205s. Hardly long, by any stretch of the imagination.

I did take a closer look at the pic, and I do detect orange wax. That might have been the problem.

He is out with our group this week, and I'm not sure that he has actually skiied a piste run yet! He is a brilliant off pister. Unfortunately, as you can see, he had to eat a lot of snow to get there.

So this was in my first season in Niederau, we were young eagles, trying everything. There were certainly few days, when I carried a camera. One day, two of us were off piste through the trees, absolutely invincible.

Anyway, there was a little incident, and when my friend asked for help, (imagine a muffled "Help!"), I politely suggested that he might have to wait a moment, at least until I could capture the moment.........

came close to disappointment

With all my N. experience, I am still finding out that things will always change. Last week I took my skis into one centre for an edge sharpen, and the next day there was little change. So I took them into Margreiter, and told them of the issue, and asked for an 88 degree edge sharpen ~ they were brilliant!

The first place was one where I know the owners well, and they gave a good hire dicount for our ski party, but the maintenance was left wanting.

I shouldn't worry too much though, waxing may be the only issue. It is dumping snow, the runs are in great condition.
