Indeed they are and I will be joining them soon.. I hope to get one in the not too distant future! The range of mounts for them you can get is ridiculous.. Just awesome..
Oh no Tony, that wasn't in a week.. Silly boy - That was in 2 nights - we bought the beers late on in the week - That bottle of vodka with the studded leather gimp suit on it came with us from home :D
I do enjoy a good drink on a skiing holiday! However I do make sure it doesn't ruin the days of skiing I have when i'm over there.
In January when we were in Meribel we discovered a shelve above the kitchen counter and seized this as an opportunity to fill it with a whole line of empty beer (and vodka) bottles;

46 sleeps for me :D :D :D

You're quite right Tony, our appartment in Alpe D'Huez looked directly onto the runway and I managed to catch a video of a plane taking off;

A chairlift actually runs underneath the runway through a little tunnel (at the end of the runway) - known as the scare chair, simply for its ridiculous height that you don't know about until it's too late and you're sitting on the chair looking down.. Rather fun really

Dave Mac you are of course correct, this came across my mind when I replied the first time; but personally I wouldn't use my time getting to The Lecht :) I'd much rather aim for Glenshee at least- but each to their own!
Regardless, you can ski at The Lecht and enjoy it whatever you make of it :)
