No sorry its something all men have. Its strange all my customers this week, the women have bad colds, the men have flu.......so strange

Funny you should say that...he woke up this morning with a cold too. can you imagine...a suspected broken toe and man flu! He's taken his own temperature three or four times today. He has also said ' I'm not feeling well at all' about a hundred times...I think his vocal chords must be affected too because he's developed a quiet, slow, pathetic voice too. Maybe the roasting tin bounced off his toe and hit him in the neck after!

Although stubbing a toe badly is extremely painful, I seem to remember when I broke some toes thirty odd years ago, it was even more painful. I have snowboarded with a badly stubbed toe (black and blue, and xrayed to be sure). That was in soft snowboard boots which can have a little more room for toes. I remember taping the next toe to the injured one together for suport, taking a few Ibuprophen and not having a problem. Could be that if ski boots are a problem, it might be fun to try snowboarding rather than miss out completely.

I'm going to make him go to the hospital for an xray tomorrow. Knowing it is not broken (if it's not) will make a big difference psychologically when skiing. Aside of that, he is a bit of a hypocondriac and I couldn't bare to put up with him for six weeks harping on about a 'broken' toe when it might not be!

Yeah, he has his own boots...They are very comfy (normally) as he had them fitted by a good ski boot fitter.
