Advice on Les Arcs - Chalet Altitude

Unfortunately not although you do get discounted tix at the other resorts. Think it is 20 euros for the La Rosiere/La Thulie pass when you show your Les Arc one!

That was in Jan and there has been a whole lot more snow since then,,,

Some chalets offer to drive you to other local resorts (there are a whole load in the Valley) and I would suggest you take them up on a couple. Sainte Foy is a fantastic ski hill with some outstanding freeride terrain and mellow powder runs for improving. La Rosiere llows you to ski in to Italy for the day to a resort called La Thulie which is fantastic.

Get out and see some of the local area!!

This is a photo I took from Sainte Foy looking down to Bourg Sainte Maurice in the Valley. Les Arc is on the left, La Plagne a bit further away on the left and La Rosiere on the right!

For anyone who is interested: Drovers

Drovers Inn, now you are talking. Does it still have the stuffed bear in the hallway, with stuffing hanging out? The same guy wearing a greasy kilt, and a grunt for a welcome?

When I stayed there, with cracked washbasin and curled up lino, opened the bedroom door in the morning, and there was a peacock on the landing! I recommend to anyone.

Stuffed everything everywhere! Stuffed Golden Eagle on the bar, you do not see that every day! Didn't see greasy man in kilt, nice blonde waitress (suitably lengthed 'kilt')!
