The best thing you can do is try a few different skis and form some opinions for yourself.

'Park performance' in comparison to 'all mountain performance' is sorta like wanting your formula 1 car to also rally well, you will have to compromise somewhere.

I have found my Armada ARVs and my Dynastar Trouble Makers of old to be reasonable compromises. ARV with more of a bias towards all-mountain performance and the Trouble Makers more of a park bias.

I prefer the ARVs for what it is worth.

Get to a snowdome and try some out!

The snow looks amazing.

Where do you order packing fairies? I could do with a couple next time I go on holiday. They seem to do a very neat job.

Lovely photos,
Thanks,

Ally

Not if you are going fast enough 8)

Good length, wrong ski.

NB: Threats are not a full twin.
I had it all ready in the porch with the radiator on so my boots would be nice and toasty to put in the car but apparently there was no need for the porch radiator to be on and my stuff was moved inside

A day in the life of Pablo Escobar.

Wake up, check if the packing fairy has left my stuff in the hallway.

Put stuff in car, triple check nothing has been forgotten (forget key item here)

From here to the next photo it took me 45 minutes!
Kit up!

Check out the wildlife

I was happy to be skiing :D

Rusty, not skied for a while

That's more like it! (Trencher, take a look and see what I mean    )

I like this photo

3-unintentional forward roll in deep snow

I have none of getting home due to just wanting to be back. Went via the Drovers inn which I highly recommend!

Skied 9-2 on powder/heavy powder snow. Getting cruddy towards the end of the day. Skied all the way back to the carpark which is 800m of vert.
