I've never been on a holiday with anyone who hasn't paid so don't know if it would affect having a good time or not. But I did find that very funny ally!!!

The thing is, Tony, I've never organized a group holiday before, but I have been letting holiday cottages for about 15 years through an agency, and I know very well that it can be difficult to persuade people to pay the balance of their holiday by the required date, which was 12 weeks ahead in this case.

So I am very pleased that everyone in the group paid their balance to Bonjour ahead of time! I didn't have to nag anyone 8) :D

And, well done Ally for getting this trip off the ground.
I admit I didn't think it would eVer happen, simply because it was such a huge task for someone to take on.
Have a great time all. I wish I was coming.

seasonal skiing insurance

Sorry to hear about your experience Bandit..it sounds a nightmare.

I think the most important point about insurance is often you don't find out how good or bad it is until you need them.
We moved last year. Car insurer tried to increase my sons car insurance by £561 for moving 9 miles!
Luckily I had asked if a house move changed the policy and was told No.

I insisted they listen back to the call with me on the line.

They had to back down!

Anyway - not really on topic, but it just shows you have to check, check, check again...they'll do anything to get out of paying out and in my case make an initial sale.
