Ally - have you asked the ski school whether they'll be taking you into the Meribel valley?
Have to say that it'd be a great shame to go to the 3V and only ski Courchevel. |

When I worked in Meribel (a long time ago now!!), we always suggested a 3V pass unless you were a beginner (in which case you were in the wrong resort / area!) because you only needed to leave your home valley twice to make the 3V pass cheaper.
The top of the Saulire cable car is the border between the Courchevel and Meribel areas so it's very easy to ski in both areas. |

We've had a few flocons down ere in Darzet - but no way near enough to settle!

For accomodation, I'd suggest contacting the local agencies who might have some season lets on their books. There should be links from the resort web pages.

As someone who posts and frequents too many rugby message boards, this is the least antagonistic board I've come across. Indeed, I'm surprised just how 'nice' some people are to each other!
