It's a great feeling isn't it?! Only surpassed by departing, then arriving in resort, and finally by getting out on the mountain! :D

I've just hd to replace my old Raichle Flex comps which I used during my last couple of seasons as the heels are shot and I've failed to find replacements. My feel are quite narrow.
I've bought a pair of Salomon Falcon CS Pros and they certainly feel snug. Three weeks tomorrow wll be the real test though. Tome spent wth a good boot fitter is your best solution though. |

It two of you are travelling make sure you each take a bag as Ripoffair don't allow you to share our weight allowance.
As soon as someone suggests to Michael O'Leary that he should charge for the air on board he will. Don't forget to take your sunnies on board to cope with their hideous interiors. Personally, I'd rather fly with almost anyone else other than the hidden charging false advertising bunch of crooks. :!: |

You'd have been out on the hills on Sunday around Shaftesbury in the white stuff.

You can get a Grand Massif season pass for 399 Euros if purchased before mid Decmber - that's cheaper than the 13 day pass I think.

I believe it's the World Cup weekend in Val d'Isere that weekend, so good nightlife assured, and snow should be good with most lifts open.

Go for it, you'll have the time of your life. I was lucky enough to spend 5 winters working in Meibel and one summer in La Plagne and had the time of my life.
Nowhere beats being in the mountains in winter. |
