Strong winds, new snow, no base - don't venture off piste tomorrow BB!

SKI Sunday

As Noddy says, just back and I skied Le face 3 times last week - day of the slalom the top part was superb snow, skied again the next day, snow fine, and bottom part of the run was still in 'race condition' and was patchy - ice / ok snow. the final time it had been bashed and was fine all the way down.

Snow in the whole area was decent last week but little base and very little cover off piste. If the Christmas storm delivers it will be lethal off piste fr a while.

Might pop over the mountain on Sunday morning and watch it live!
Getting ready - ski kit laid out in spare room, ironing up to date, packing to be done tomorrow evening, finishing tasks at work, 3 sleeps to go.....

Dry slope nightmare

Dry slopes will find out poor technique. Keep persevering and it will pay dividends as your technique will improve and that will keep you in good stead for the future.
People will say dry slopes are rubbish, but that's because their technique isn't good enough!
