The snow depth tends to be measured in an uncompacted, shaded, roped off area, so doesn't really bear much resemblence to the depth of snow on which you are skiing! Undoubtedly some resorts position the measuring stick under a snow canon!

It you have to go on peak dates and want a choice of where to go and where to stay, you'll pay the fuller price. Simple. |
