Orange? But of course.

I have already had fun hiding one walkie talkie down the back of the sofa and scaring my girlfriend with ghostly voices even when there is no one else in the room.

Your Favourite Piece of Gear

What was or is your all time favourite piece of gear?

It can be boots, skis, a board, a jacket, gloves, walkie talkies, anything really...

My favourite was my Oakley Eye Jackets. They were just the best sunnies I've ever had - never fogged up, fitted my face perfectly, never fell off (even when I met a tree at pace), and they looked really cool. Unfortunately they were stolen by some swine in Australia.

Last time I was in Les Arc we had dinner with a local couple and the lady had her child in a standard buggy.
Lessons

I think the best way to go is check out the local schools on the web. They'll be cheaper and you can usually get feed back on the quality of the school on sites like this.

Three days should give you a basic grounding but it won't mean you'll be ready to drop down a 60 degree vert.

Just remember that even seasoned skiers and boarders still go for lessons once in a while as a refresher and/or to learn new skills.
