What kind of pub, clubs, etc are you looking for?

I had them try that on me once but I argued that it was padding for the skis. I also pointed out that I would remove the padding if they were willing to repair any damages to my skis. |

I reckon that'll about do it. I personally think that no lens improves vision significantly in flat light

Nothing this time but when I win my plan is to ski all winter and dive all summer. Play it by ear during spring and autumn. Oh yeah, I'd have lots of nice watches too.

I think at this stage work on some cardio. And think of it as starting your fitness regime for next season.

Come on - admit it - who is still using old fashioned skis?

I saw a pair of Head skinnys 210 in a charity shop.
I was tempted to buy them for some old school jollies until I saw the price - £150! If they weren't the price of new skis (in a sale) I may have considered it. When I spoke to the old dear behind the counter and explained (politely) that they were over priced and not exactly the most up to date gear, she told me (not so politely) that I didn't know what I was talking about. Bless her. I wouldn't mind trying out a pair of skinny straights but to be honest I remeber the first time I got a pair of carvers to work properly - big cheesy grins and lots of whooping as I went down the hill. Perhaps there is a niche in the market for a skinny ski producer. |

I use my poles for feeling the surface in front of me, for timing, sometimes shoving off, as my pivot point on jump turns, thwacking girls bottoms, blocking branches/poles, getting back up (especially in powder).
Whilst I agree that poles aren't necessary they are a great tool - not vital but makes thing a lot easier. |
