I have Scott Neos (semi-TT) although mine are on the short side (166) and I could do with an extra 10 they are an awesome ski. Can do anything apart from pour a decent pint but Scott are probably working on that. Braehead have a good stock of Scotts or didi last time I was there.

Dont think you went far enough Hirsty. I'd have made her smell them and then sniff my groin to prove they were mine.
Silly cow.

I hope they getput in jail and bummed roughly! That would be karma.

To avoid the luggage/ski bag conundrum I pack all my gear into my ski bag (well it is a snowboard bag but you can fit in more that way)

Last trip a woman came up to me and said I had her bag. Event though I put black and yellow tape along it as an identifier. She insisted that I open it. Usually I'd tell her to get to fork but instead I pulled out a pair of my well worn jocks to show her. She didn't see the funny side and gave me a dirty look and tutted.

Hirsty, not cheesy but not too cool. just a good laugh with some music involved really.

I'm going round the bride-to-be's house tonight to go through the options so I'll google everything when I get home from work.

thanks guys

queen_sheba came up with a few good selections. There is also the Jam House on Queen Street which is a live music venue aimed at more (but not too) respectible clientele. It is owned by Jules Holland. I haven't been there myself but it gets good reviews and my girly has been there for a hen do which went well.

If you fancy a pub crawl I would recommend Rose Street - several different bars and it doesn't have the No Hen/Stag Party rule of the Grassmarket.

A good place to look on the interweb for tips and reviews is The List Magazine
