The road down the valley was closed earlier for avalanche control for an hour.

My OH does not ski but loves the mountains and getting up the hill, she also loves gondolas in particular and will go up and down, and then up and down, for the scenery and experience and a coffee/wine/cake/G&T/crepe/chocolate chaude etc etc etc at the top.
