Pre xmas 1986 was pretty epic snow.
Can't compare directly with this year. It certainly started earlier. Skiing back to resort in Tignes in November and the whole resort was snow covered early December. The snow was pretty much down to Bourg st Maurice by about 2nd week December and Les Arcs was fully open from it's first w/end which would have been about 15th dec. ish, about, approximately! Year before early season was c***, year after was c***. |
