We've got a couple of kids off with CP at the moment...I'm sure there'll be a few more.

I was covered as a youngster and just have one or two pock marks. This time not so many but in strange places, feet, throat and in my ears just a few others scattered about.

I had them in all of those places and another unmentionable place!

caron-a wrote:So, tonight I had my final consultation with the specialist and can confirm that one year, two months, 22 days and 2 hours post accident I am finally back in the land of the normal! No longer under treatment and free of hospital appointments. My acl replacement is as solid as a rock .

I thanked my consultant but told him that I hoped I'd never see him again (in a nice way), then I went and gave my physio a big hug and a bottle of plonk and then I drove home towards a beautiful sunset with a huge grin on my face.

I feel liberated and I'm celebrating with a glass of wine :D

Congratulations Caron, have a lovely evening. Lets hope you don't catch Roses chicken pox!

My sons do not remember having it, but they have. Not everyone feels I'll with it you might just not be able to remember...Your mum will know. Not everyone gets lots of spots. When I had it my brother got it too and he had only three spots! He felt really poorly and I felt ok (apart from the itching).

I had chicken pox at the age of 14, I was absolutely covered in spots on the outside and inside . My biggest memory about that time was my mum meticulously slapping my hand every time I tried to scratch. I hated her for it it at the time but I have no scars and am very grateful to her now.

You poor thing. I hope you have someone to be nice to you and read you stories, and give you treats and make you feel better.

I do but he's worried about catching it. So is every-one at work

Aren't you supposed to have a week off work?
