I have had the pleasure, and grace of life, to have met Pavel and in that light I feel I should offer a comment here.

Take the likeness of Bond, James Bond, and put him on skis and then he will start to approach a possible avatar for Pavel. Pavel is very debonair, kind and (as we all know) very knowledgeable and skilled in most matters and particularly in the ski field. He has exquisite taste in music and great cars. Even Bond would be envious of the Pavel persona. And when it comes to the ladies, we should all be jealous of how they swoon at his presence guys. OK, most of us anyway. I don't think he's into boating, so ellistine, you have him there

Now to get out the sketch pad....... :!:

Mike

So his Aston Martin would look a bit like this?

Just have to hope pav doesn't have to use his light sabre on Rose's husband.

I know I am biased and say it often, but it is my fav place and go every year, try Seefeld, Austria and stay at the Alpina. So many extra activities, great ski school. Three ski areas plus sleigh rides, sledging, fantastic pool, bob-sleigh, ice skating, curling, loads of shops restaurants. Loads of cleared walks etc etc etc. Half an hour transfer from Innsbruck, and half an hour on a train to Germany.

Hamish Macbeth wrote:Just checking on some last minute details and now see that Thomson isn't offering the hotel Vicky for January 2009.

I know they are not open for business at present but I thought they were still OK for winter.

Anyone heard anything?

Got bored in lunch hour to-day, popped next door to travel agents, got a couple of ski cats. Crystal are advertising winter 2009 hols at the hotel Vicky. I must admit I am getting very drawn to Niederau
