Nasty little buggers, them.

Apparently tino_11 is scared of them, so can we add your name to the fish phobias list? )

I am not scared of them, but they can be nasty little buggers. Their sting is quite painful, and they randomly attack people paddling in the sea. Not nice.
I do however have a big phobia about Jellyfish. I used to have a fear of flying, but I cured that 5 years ago.

The sting is horrendous, not nice. How did you get over your fear of flying, I am terrified, I do it 'cos I want my holiday but I dont enjoy it?

tino_11 wrote:Only been stung twice, on my foot and hand. Not hypo-allergic, but swell really badly, so I dont carry needles, but if I were stung chest up, getting to hospital becomes a priority.

Always look after my tackle, keep it bin prime condition.....lol

You should carry an epipen. People with allergies or bad reactions to these things, each sting will tend to be worse than the last. Thats why after the bad reaction I had to the weaver fish was so severe I am terrified of getting another and feeling even worse. Mind you a bit of the dorsal fin was still in my foot so I got the full dose of poison.

Rose, when you read another person's post, there is a box bottom right, which says Rate. When you open it, there is a marking system available for you to rate that contributors post, if you wish.
It's not you being dim, far from it, this rating system does not get used much!

Thanks, got it now, always wondered
