Obviously needs better thermal base layer then ;-)
I'll be back in mine - only got it originally to convince #2 daughter to wear one, but wouldn't be without it now.

Zell am See in Austria or Alpe d'Huez in France.

Zell is just an hour from Salzburg nice ski area and good apres to. Plus it's an all year round resort so lots to do of slopes if you need it. You've also got the Kaprun glacier area available on the same lift pass (free ski bus to it) if it turns out to be a bad snow year.... but of course it's not going to be is it ! :-)

I checked them out a couple of months ago after the taxes go on they are no cheaper than than Easy-jet or that other lot 8)

But Sion is soooooo much more convenient for many resorts.

Resort wise Zell am See is good. Nice area with lots to do off the mountain to and good nightlife. I alwasy get there at least once in a season (as well as visitng new resorts).

Hy Ally,

Good to hear some feedback on this trip as I had considered it, sadly my schedule is full niow till Xmas except a short dash to Kaprun in early December, but I'll certainly consider it for next year if it's running afetr your report.

Cheers
