If money is no object then its OK, its an adventure, but I think I would want a few more days ski-ing than that, for the money

We tried them for a few hours in Seefeld last year. cant remember make but I found them easier because I could use a softer boot with them. But Hubby was not so keen he felt he did not have so much support and control because the boots we tried with them were softer than ours. Because our boots/boots/bindings were new that year we did not even consider changing.

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine desperately wanted a load of apples, some-thing to do with chutney. He had spied what he thought was an apple tree by the side of a carpark. So after a few pints he and a mate went scrumping in the dark, filling bags, falling out of trees, got chased by a landowner. When they got home they were not apples, but pears. |

When I went to Austria a couple of years ago I had just got over pleursy and pneumonia, and had broken several ribs as a result of coughing. So ski/board was out of the question, but I still wanted to go to the top of the mountain. Every time we tried the funicular it was jam packed and not a pleasant experience. So we went on the first one up at 7.30am. There was a bloke, his ski's and his dog. He was a local who had to be at work at 9am, but said he needed to have just one run every morning before work but also his dog need excercise every morning. He did not have time to do both. So both up in funicular, he skied down, the dog ran alongside.........best of both worlds. He said the dog waited by his ski's every morning just waiting for his master and that run.
