When I go on my winter hols I board, ski,xcountry ski, toboggan and go on bob sleigh rides. I just love everything in the snow. So why cant I ice skate. Have tried so many times but still cant stand up

Nothing much in any of ours. A few dare to be, a few tresspass the only thing was nice Roxy salo's, but I bought them at the end of last season. Try again this weekend. Last year I bought a really nice Betty Rides jacket in aubergine, but find it difficult to get salo's that will go with it.

But having said all that I would love to go to Canada, may-be one day.

Oh I did last year, we flew around the Alps for 45mins and then landed at Innsbruck on second attempt, because the fog was so bad. We were the first ones to land that day and talking to people all week they were all diverted to various other airports and then to Innsbruck by coach. Still only held us up by about an hour. We were lucky and were still on the slopes by 3.30pm. Not bad. |

I can only go a week at a time, so dont want to waste any precious time travelling. So I go to Europe and can always manage to be on the snow, max 6 hrs after I have gone out my own front door.

I do hope this season every-one will give an account of their hols when they get back. It would be lovely to see pics and know the advantages/disadvantages of all the different places we are off to.
