We contemplated driving this year but chose Eurostar instead, we get a discount through the TO and carriage is obviously free.

I don't know where this company did their market research for their new business, but if anyone were to decide to start up any business to do with skiing I know a fairly liberal bunch of people who would give an honest opinion....

I'm rather partially to the bubbly stuff produced around the Champagne area, as you would appreciate that the chardonnay grape is used in the production of fizzy French drink..... 8) 8)

Champagne is a funny thing, sends me nuts.

You have the national variations as they can not call it Champagne, and to be quite frank Euro for Euro it can be waaay better. A good Spanish Cava can be excellent, however a German Sekt is usually not so great.

What shall I have for tea by the way, the choice is massive as I have nothing so must go to the supermarket.

Italian Prosecco is very good in the bubbles department, and a snip at half the price.

Champagne and Vodka send me a bit potty. I think it's called a Polar Bear, Russian drink apparently, although I first drank it in Chamonix.
