Sorry - they are now neatly tucked into my case and shortly off to Sussex! I might say that they are an inoffensive black and what is probably called aubergine in the fashion circles, still with the original black laces and not a bit of fur (faux or otherwise) to be seen!

There used to be a really evil drag lift on the Chalvet area in Montgenevre - is it still there?

I have never been so relieved to reach the top of a drag, having clung on for all I was worth with a sheer drop with no netting or anything to my left and a wall of snow to my right.

Similar to Tony, we have stayed once in Chantemerle, twice in Villeneuve and next week will be our third stay in Monetier, which is definitely our favourite. I would also highly recommend Ski Miquel.
