As for world cups, Dave, will your nation every qualify past the first round? Or come to that, ever actually qualify again?

My nation Tony?

Ich bin ein Niederauer, oder ein Englander, oder Schottischer, Ich weiss nicht. Es macht nicht.

1 x Helmet
1 x goggles

Anyone got any good recommendations for helmets?

Try on lots if different helmets. Then try lots of goggles with the helmet you choose. Not all fit well together!

The helmets I've tried so far make me look like a cone head. Is that normal or do I have an odd shaped head?

PMSL...Any relation of yours?

That's my dad!
Lucky you!

I would have said pretty much anywhere in the French Alps would be good for both. I lived in Chamonix for a couple of years, winter and summer, it's perfect for both. I did a lot of climbing, cycling, hiking, camping in the summer months, there's so much to do, and obviously the winter speaks for itself.

I think you should visit a couple of resorts at each time of year before making a decision though.

Good luck!
