Can we establish that it is you that have had the gluhwein, Em? And also that it is very difficult to establish skier's ages when they are passing you? |

OK, Alistair, so we have now established the following: 1) You admit to spending your free time looking in skips, for whatever reason, maybe beyond the ken for most J2skiers.... 2) In carrying out this subversive activity, you also admit to frequenting areas of toxic waste...... At least I frequent standard grade ski resorts, while Trencher obviously targets upmarket, affluent areas, probably A grade film stars. |

And to clarify, Peter and Martin are brothers. All three brothers and the sister are really friendly people.

Somehow, I don't think billip would have reached the road to Worgl, if he didn't pay the bill! |

OK, I have to wait a few years. There is little in the way of oldies free skiing in Euroland. Most resorts have cottoned on to the fact that if you are a regular skier, over 60, the chances are, you can do three times as much skiing in a day as the average punter. The skiwelt create a reduction if you are over 80. (I suppose the grandparents have to be alive, and still capable of at least a snowplough) Fortunately, I ski in a working class resort, one that has a socialist outlook. Most of the oldies are local, and the lift company does not dare to do away with it's favourable pass ts & cs! |

Here is my costing for my most recent ski:
Flight ~ £69 Transfer ~ 77Eu = £66 Accomodation ~ 20Eu/ngt, inc tax, 420Eu, = £362 Total cost, 3 weeks, £497 Cost per week ~ £166 For one of us, it was cheaper, cos we had one airmile return flight. Lift pass, £78/week, (prorata usage of my season pass) Don't count food and drink, since, being Austria, this is cheaper than at home. |

I will keep my eyes open Alistair. See, all you need is a bit of clear communication!
