I've only skied there for a day, we were there of a day trip from Alpe D'Huez I think. A couple of Ski Miguel reps hosted us for the day, they were brilliant.
As much as I enjoyed it and would happily go back, it wouldn't be anywhere near the top of my list of French resorts to visit. Don't let this be the limit of your exploration of french skiing, because you'll miss some of the best skiing in the world if you do. As for the rudest skiers, that would have to be Germans in St Anton. (My favourite area, I think) I can't say I've ever had a particularly bad experience in France, I tend to ski during quieter weeks, perhaps that makes a difference? |

Stayed in Canazei 3 years ago, fantastic trip, the Sella Ronda is well worth a visit.
Best area I'd say was Arabba/Marmolada, closely followed by Selva and Val Gardena. The scenery is simply breathtaking. |

Andorra will suit you perfectly, I'd suggest Soldeu part of the Grandvalira area which is huge.
There's km after km of blues and easy reds. If you look at the piste map you'll see it's mostly reds, but don't be put off, most would be blues anywhere else. We took a group there 3 years ago, including several beginners. Their skiing came on an incredible amount in a week. |

I'm feeling faint.
I've just checked the snow forecast for Tignes and it predicts 103cm over the next 7 days! :) :-) :D  |

Usually a Single Malt, Laphroaig or similar. We've usually got a nice line up in the group, sloe gin, rum, one or two weird liqueurs. |

Guide in Jackson Hole had a very dry sense of humour.
He's doing the usual pointing out of various peaks etc, when he says 'see that ranch down there?' 'That's Dick Cheney's ranch.' Then with what I can only discribe as perfect comedy timing, he adds 'perfect position for a sniper about here I reckon'. |
