following a chat I was having with someone, we were talking about the top few bits of kit we had without which we couldn't function, those items we're tempted to go buy a roomful of to guarantee a lifetime supply. For me, my Haglöfs barrier jacket is probably the number one, a synthetic mid layer that packs to nothing and provides instant heat for chilly lunch stops, days where there's no sun, chilly huts etc.
