We went to Solden last year and stayed about 100m from the Gaislachkogl lift .
The queue was never massive and always got on within 5 minutes at the most Blue 9 back to Gaislachkogl is nice apart from the last 200 metres which is carnage .Its very narrow and it was like skiing in sugar ,its just a free for all if you get to the end without going into someone or hitting the rocks on the right you've done well.Obviously if you go back earlier you should be ok .We ended up getting the gonadal back down the last few days to save any accidents. I havent been to many but its the best skiing resort ive been to but not a place i would say for beginners Gaislachkogl is the quieter end of town .We went every night to CHRIS & CO Irish Pub which had lots of sports on there many TV's and the best thing there a restaurant/pizzeria next door that brought food into the pub for you or you can just eating the restaurant. From front it doesn't look much but out the back its quite nice and very reasonably priced. I cant comment on the nightlife as we never mad it that far |

Ive got a choice of 2 places to stay one near Galzibhan lift and the other next to Nassereibhan lift .
Which is not so crowded in the mornings and which has the better runs back in the afternoon. Not bothered about the nightlife as i dont mind the walk back im swayed towards the Nassereibhan as the hotel is 50m from the lift thanks |

Not sure what you mean by short stay ,but if you mean a few days then you wont find any accommodation until nearer the time, unless you can pay mega bucks or stay out of town.
We went to Solden last year and we found 1 place that would take us for 5 days and we had to arrive on a Sunday.Closer to our departure date more unsold places became available. They want you to book the week Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun. We havent learnt from last year as weve booked Wed-Monday flights and going to Ischgl at the beginning of march. Fingers crossed we will find some accommodation |

I always tell people Google or Youtube.I should of took my own advice . It does seem to flatten out in place which might upset the boarders in our group, but on the other hand im on skis so stuff them  |

Whats run 80 like back to the town ,does it flatten out ,do you have to walk any part and the same from the town down to the lift Also are there any bars in the area for one or two drinks after dinner thanks |
