Baggy wrote:Hi Nyck.
The answer as I see it is stay in Soldeu as I have for the last 10 years now.
The resort is a little quieter at night than Pas but offers better skiing.
Pas snow is normaly very icy and the ski school in Soldeu is the best I have ever experienced across Europe.
When you and your group are more experienced then you can ski back towards Pas and enjoy a fab run back to soldeu.
Theres even a ski instructor band that are a scream.
I hope these comments are more helpfull and if you need any more advice email me.
Baggy.

We've already booked PAS ,that the reason for the Soldeu question..May be next time

thanks nyck
Hope you get something back

Myself, Wife 2 kids and Mum and dad are heading to Borovets in mid January.
My mum & dad are in there early 60's so wont be skiing and my wife & daughter are going to try but i think they wont like it???
As a Family we love sledgeing ,is there anywhere you can buy/hire sledges and some where we could use them.
I've seen winter walks, snow mobiles and sleigh rides listed but not much info.

Any info welcome
