Mine took around 10-12 months to heal .
I played badminton twice a week and golf so used one of these

I think the strap helped more than anything but normally used the strap and sock together.

I forgot to wear the support the first day and didn't the rest of the trip as the skiing didn't affect it at all.I wear standard ski boots that aren't moulded or have special foot beds.
From what i read and my own personal experience you shouldn't have a problem

Anywhere you would recommend or avoid for ski hire

As mentioned Hervis was by far the cheapest .There was 12 of us looking to hire from skis only to Ski's,boots&helmets etc so spending around 1000+ Euros between us .
Intersports were next to our hotel and wouldnt offer any discount and wouldnt even price match there online prices ,this was the same for a few other shops.
So we headed to Hervis who are cheaper anyway and even got around 15-20% discount off there online price .We only hired for 5 days and Paid around 55-60 euros for ski/poles only .

It is a quieter forum but my questions normally get answered .The problem with the other forums i use ,your question gets swallowed up within a few hours and ends up on page 3 or 4in no time .
RE: St Anton
We also in the 42-50 brackets .We would have 1 or 2 the krazy kanguruh then head back and try and be out just before 7pm. We went to Scottys bar most nights .5-7pm €22 Any 2 meals with a beer or soft drink, pizza and pasta dishes. They are probably one of the best pizzas i've ever tasted .We did venture to Bobo's a couple of nights on the way home
pauljersey wrote:Defiantly the Galzig end which is at the top of the resort. st Anton is a great resort but not the easiest Skiing, especially in the afternoon when the runs have been well skied and most end up very moggely. But to avoid the difficult Ski back through all the people outside the Moosa Bar etc there is a track that you can take which is very gentle and beautiful through the trees. Good Luck! Enjoy

Thanks for the reply but about 9 months to late .
Well i ignored everyones advice and stayed next to Nassereibhan lift. After a visit to Krazy Kanguruh the main bus terminal is a short ski/walk , which took us back to our hotel at Nassereibhan
ve booked easter flights early April and was going to wait until nearer the time to book a room to check snow conditions .
I waited nearly a whole month and found out im not very good at waiting.

So ive narrowed it down to the Grand massif due to closeness to Geneva and resort Altitude .

Ive found a couple of places in Flaine and quite a few more in Morrillon .

Are there bars where we could watch a few football matches or just use the wifi
Are there any inexpensive Pizzerias etc
I'm worried my son getting bored of an evening ,thats why i,m leaning more towards Flaine as oppose the the other resorts as they look busier ??

The other plus points to flaine ,the accomadation is near the lift and i can get a direct shared transfer ,where the other resorts i would have to hire a car

thanks nick

We take our motorhome to Venosc just below the resort and stay at Champs du Moulins campsite. They have small lodges there. The downside is that the lift passes are on the dearer side. Definitely worth a look.

Looks like its nearly a 3hr drive from Geneva Airport?? We land at 4.30pm so hoping not to drive more than 2 hrs so we arnt driving in the dark(8pm)..
Ill think about it thou

We are flying to Geneva 3rd April for 5 days ,looking to Ski in France within 2 hrs drive of Geneva

To cut down on cost i was looking at a few resorts with cheaper Ski passes ie:La Clusaz etc ,but obviously those resorts don't have the high altitude of the more expensive places.

I prefer to wait until a few weeks to check snow conditions .

So my question is does accommodation sell out fast at easter?? ,so needs to be booked months in advance

thanks
