Ive got a choice of 2 places to stay one near Galzibhan lift and the other next to Nassereibhan lift .
Which is not so crowded in the mornings and which has the better runs back in the afternoon.

Not bothered about the nightlife as i dont mind the walk back

im swayed towards the Nassereibhan as the hotel is 50m from the lift

thanks

If it was me I would opt for the Galzigbahn because you are then also close to the Rendlbahn. Also if you use the Nassereibhan, to get over to the Galzig (which then opens up the options of ski into Stuben/blue bus to Lech) you have to ski down from Gampen to the Zammermoos Bahn which is a bit of bottleneck in the mornings and there are often Qs. Cant comment on the St Anton nightlife as I avoid it.

I would definitely opt for the Galzig end.

It is much more central for everything. The main bus terminal is there so handy for buses (for example to get to Lech which is worth doing for at least 1 day).

You also have a choice of lifts to different ski areas out of Galzig in the morning - Galzig, Gampen and Rendl while the home run is probably a little bit easier than the one down to Nassarein. Neither is particularly easy if you are heading home during the main evening rush . Better to get down early or else leave it as late as possible

I've just come back from Lech, and we had a day in St Anton. I couldn't believe how busy run 4 was, going through the bottleneck before the right turn. Anyone who can't bleed off safely is in trouble there! That said, I also visited the Kagharu and it was a great atmosphere, no trouble and lots of friendly people. I can see why it's so popular.

Defiantly the Galzig end which is at the top of the resort. st Anton is a great resort but not the easiest Skiing, especially in the afternoon when the runs have been well skied and most end up very moggely. But to avoid the difficult Ski back through all the people outside the Moosa Bar etc there is a track that you can take which is very gentle and beautiful through the trees. Good Luck! Enjoy

Well i ignored everyones advice and stayed next to Nassereibhan lift. After a visit to Krazy Kanguruh the main bus terminal is a short ski/walk , which took us back to our hotel at Nassereibhan
