There is an issue with road clearance. Hence stay at the Spittal, or in Braemar. Be prepared for a long road wait if it has snowed. On good days, it is great skiing.
Corruption like this exists in the UK, perhaps in different ways, and on slightly different scales. Tony H is an expert in places he has never been to, that is well known. But you, FQ, you are a highly rated J2 man, have you been to Bulgaria?

Lota, I have recently been asking my physio about achilles, ~ my skibuddy has an issue. From what she said, she was able to do quite a lot for the problem. Two doors down isn't too far away.

You are joshing me, Pav. We celebrated 39 years of skiing bliss in June past, some four years after I committed to sharing my engineering life with skiing and painting. Then skiing became dominant.
How did that happen?

You are a kind man Pavel! I have looked many times at your videos, and maybe you are right ~ I may have a twin! We are not so different, I think!

Re garding loose boots, I might find it difficult to leave the top two buckes undone. My boots only have one buckle. I know this is not fashionable, but it is my way.
I love the engineering principle to push the foot forward into the boot. My boots and I celebrate 25 years of joy together this year!
And the videos might indicate that I don't have too much of a problem with these old single buckle boots!

I also really disliked the practically mandetory 15% expected for a tip. Have never experienced that anywhere else.
