Agreed, and it is frustrating. But in Tignes it was unreal just how many snowboarders did it....a far higher proportion, including 1 sleeping just over the dip on a red, right in the middle!!!!

I get confused at the amount of boarders who just seem to sit in the MIDDLE of a slope all day. Is that what they hit the slopes for?

Very few of them seem to actually know what they are doing. The good ones are great, and of course we all need to learn....but why rest in dangerous places? Anyway, rant over.......

Good call, Tony. I love the 3 valleys, but after visiting Les Arcs & La Plagne, I know exactly what you mean.

There was nothing funnier than watching snowboarders sweating as they couldnt get enough speed up to the tunnel on the same named run!!!! Sadistic but true.....

I'm not so sure Tony. I think it's looking pretty good, and nothing ventured.....

They've spent 33 billion on it so far, London spent 9.5 so facilities should be pretty good.

Sochi could be the answer. They seem to be trying to make it exclusive like Courchevel 1850 or St Moritz....if they get persuaded to stay in their own country others places might lower the prices if no one is buying......
