It was ok, I thought. A bit quiet, not a huge amount of interest to me and I was glad I hadn't paid for my ticket! Got some very useful info on a few resorts I will be trying in the coming seasons though.
Nice meeting Caron-a, her friend and of course Admin Dave. The beers with them was the highlight. :D Roll-on winter. |

I can't remember - sorry!
It will be on the timetable I gave you the link to, but I have a feeling it will be more than 19 euros. |

I got the train from Salzburg to Zell easily enough. One change only, journey time was about an hour and three quarters. Taxi from Zell to Kaprun - 10 minutes max.
Get the train timetable at www.OBB.at Hope this is of some help to you. :) |

Have you considered Kaprun? Summer skiing is pretty good there, I understand and if conditions are not so good after lunch you have the option of spending some time on and around the lake @ Zell am See. I spoke to a guy last season who has a week on that basis every year, skiing in the morning and biking in the afternoon, round the water. He reckoned its a fabulous way to spend the time. |

£33 pp saving seems pretty reasonable to me for the gf and I for March. |
