Does anyone know of any other countries as good as Switzerland for skiing?

Not rising to that one......it has been snowing on Cairngorm, but with the wind chill factor taken into account, the temperature is -14C. Yesterday, the wind gusts were up to 114mph.
Switzerland it is then! With that in mind, have just been checking on a pre-Xmas week to Zermatt. It have me a chuckle to see that the Inghams flight supplement, (they are using Easyjet), is more than the cost of the directly booked flights! |

I would also recommend the Hote, Atlanta, if you can get a deal.

Sorry Andy, but when I click on skiset, it automatically comes up with prices for the Wildschoenau! |

I would recommend Stephan Margreiter in Oberau. We were instructors at the same time. The cheapest way would be to click on the advert at the left side of the page that you are on ~ Skiset. The prices for 6 days are 48 Euro and 86 Euro for Economy and Discovery. Don't forget to unclick the boot box, if you just want ski price only.

Ah, Swingbeep, I fear you need to get out more! If this is your hobby, well gordluvus!
The statistics do make for good reading, though. They emphasise the importance of Tirol in Austria. Remeberthe statistics are generated from the accomodation providor filling in the visitor form. And I do have first hand knowledge of custom and practise........ |

Hi Jonah,
I presume you are booked on the course through Disability Snowsport. The question to ask, is there some organised accomodation? It has got to be helpful to be close to the group for the Talk and Chalk, and for morning/evening meet-ups. |
