If you have booked wit a TO it is usually cheaper to book through them. :D

It hasn't happened yet...I always make a point of telling them at check in. If they object I'll just swap them with something in my suitcase. I will do anything to keep my boots with me, losing them would be a disaster (they've had so much work done on them to fit my dodgy shaped feet)I couldn't replace them quickly.

...of course it could be because my boots are small enough to fit into a rucksac and do not exceed weight restrictions. My hubby puts his in his suitecase.
