I'm already researching for next year as we fancy going to Canada, so been on a few of the TO sites - can't remember who, but one of them was saying it's the best snow for a generation. Now being a young lass myself (ha ha!) not sure how true that is, but friends of ours who live in L2A say it's the best it's been for many years - woohoo!! 3 weeks and counting!!

Ooer!! If you look on the 2alpesnet website, go to Lifts at the top, then Lift Status, you can see up to date info on what runs and lifts are open. The green back into resort is known as Demoiselles and has been open without any problems, it seems

Loads of blues and reds, it is a bit awkward to ski back to resort - either a bendy green littered with beginners or blacks. But there are 2 bubbles, a 20 person gondola and a couple of chairs that can return you to resort. Where are you staying - can probably tell you the best option.
It's an "upside down" resort, with the exception of the nursery slopes in resort, most blues/reds are higher up. Plenty to choose from - our third visit and there are still some runs not tried yet. |

Nice one! Our third time there, and it's he earliest in the season we've ben, so loving the webcams and all that snow!

Hi Smartski, I agree, they do seem a bit downbeat. Same reporter as last year though and they seemed better then...? When do you go - 28 Jan for us to the Aalborg this time. V excited especially as Santa brought me new ski boots :-)

I find I get very dehydrated very quickly, so water is a must for me, hence why I've bought a small backpack with bladder. Other than that, it's a bottle of water that always ends up squished within an hour or two!
Plus, slimline jackets are not necessarily the roomiest of clothing, and whilst I've enough give in mine to ski comfortably, I don't fancy cramming stuff into pockets. |

Yes, back to work day for me too - but the sooner we get to January, the sooner I hit the slopes!! 4 weeks and counting hooray!!
