Hmmm difficult 1 as the 2 places are on different sides of the mountain to each other. Saint Martin is only a small place, you would be better off getting yourself upto les menuires for après, or Val Thoren.

If I was you I'd forget après in meribel, unless you have deep pockets and can afford a taxi each night.
Best webcam app??

Felt like it too when I had a "taster" boarding afternoon in VT once.....

To be fair though I'd rather board down that than ski down the other approach into town (past the Club Med) if its like last year with more ice than snow and beginners carnage everywhere....

 Your so right, you mean the run just over the bridge? That's absolute carnage every afternoon as people ski back over to VT?...

Tony... It might well be a red but it's still used for the beginners, last yr they marked half of it off for turning around cones.

Nope..... I missed it too...
Admin wrote:Totally agree. They often do an amazing job, up the mountain in the dead of night.

I've tweaked the title of this thread; perhaps we could post replies when we see impressive results appearing on the webcams?

Agreed, their praises need to be sung.....

Hat or helmet

 Now that's another whole new debate.....BUT I'll answer it.....

Both..... Helmet for skiing and Bobble hat for après ....
Ok we all know the story so far this yr regarding the snow.....

I just wanted too take my hat off already to the fantastic job the pisteurs ( is this the right word ) do on a daily basis.... Just looking at the cam for val thoren and they already have the main runs open through and around the village which considering we haven't had snow yet is pretty amazing.

Without these guys doing such an amazing job we wouldn't be able to enjoy what we LOVE !

Big respect
