I seem to have got myself stuck at work.

This is the view from the plane just after take off from Innsbruck last Saturday.

The odd thing was that the surrounding valleys were clear.

Has anybody mentioned duct tape?

I always bring a roll.

So far I've used it at the aiport for emergency repairs to somebodies ski bag and last week to stick birthday balloons to a chair in the restaurant!

No snow in Weymouth anymore but my car was parked up a cul-de-sac lastnight and the police had closed the only route out of it due to freezing slush.

Had to get the train in this morning.

Did see the copper end up flat on his back. Shouldn't laugh. :mrgreen:

The Panaramalm up the mountain does a great pork, gravy, dumpling and sauerkraut dish.

The girlfriend wants to go back just for that!

Nice spot too.

My skis now wear my old ski socks when they're in the ski bag.

A fair amount. If you go to the Obergurgl website and look at the piste map, on the right hand side there's a group of red runs that are all below the tree line.

Having said that, on a nice day, the sheer width of the runs above the treeline can also be great.
