I have been to the small village of Katchberg ( Near St Michel/Tamsweg ), its very traditional, cosy and good skiing. If you are driving you might need chains for the last section of road up to the village. Other than that Obergürgl again, or you might like to visit me in Leogang. Its very :P nice here too.Not so tight and compact as Öbergürgl but with Northfacing slopes to the village it holds the snow till end of season. By the way - where in Yorkshire , I am South Yorks when I am in UK.

We're big Leogang fans. We stayed in the Salzburgerhof for a week a couple of years ago and enjoyed the late season runs when Saalbach was suffering a little with all the slush.

Infact we're considering booking ourselves in for a night next month. It would be good to try the runs again now that we're better skiers. Might even pop over to Zell am See where we first learnt to ski. It was only five years ago but I can't really remember any of it. Other things on my mind I'd expect :D

Thinking about hiring a car from Innsbruck airport next month. Anybody have any experience of this, good or bad?

She really enjoyed it too but was in school all week so didn't get to experience anything other than blues.

Their 4 year old daughter didn't think much of it at the start of the week but by the end of the week she was asking to stay in ski school rather than go to the creche. She wanted to ski faster and faster!

Yeah, Andy was a star considering it was only his 2nd week. Jo, the girl with the rucksack joined us for the day. She's lived in St Anton for the last 4 years so obviously she was fairly good.

Looking to get one for my next trip but have seen loads of them around but not sure of the quality of each.

It's a Samsung Sports Miniket VP-X300L. It's small handheld camera that you fit in the your pocket plus a seperate helmet cam. I think it was about £400 a little while ago.

Off piste(ish) action from our recent trip to Obergurgl.

Contains scenes of idiots, soft snow and hard trees.
May also contain mild profanity but mostly me laughing my a*!s off!
