I've managed to price up a four day ski break from the 7th to the 11th at £310pp but when I add the lift pass price plus cost of extras (food and booze) I'm not sure I can justify it considering I will be in Les Men's the week before and then back to ADH 3 weeks later. I have to remember that come April I could be without income! |

Perhaps you should read the 'Get fit for skiing' thread you'll lose the weight in no time! |

No, I think you'll find that it's because when muscles are used for exercise or anything they must be replenished with oxygen, nutrients, etc. They also produce waste products that need to be taken away from the cells. Blood is the transport system for all of these things so the harder your muscles are worked the quicker they burn through nutrients and produce waste meaning that the blood must flow faster to provide all of this, the only way for blood to flow faster is for you heart to beat faster. |

I will continue, I am determined but I would have thought I'd be at least a pound lighter. |

I'm off to the dry ski slope tonight for a couple of hours...hoping that the step machine regime will result in my legs not burning so much this week. |
